The purpose of this study is to obtain reliable information about the new industrial greenhouses built or planned in Russia by domestic and foreign investors over the past 5 years, from 2004 to 2009.
The research period covers time since 2004 - the beginnings of arrival of large nonstate and private investors in hothouse branch of the Russian Federation after considerable downturn and the recession, lasting about 20th years.
During work it was decided problems of an estimation and forecasting of growth of volumes of greenhouse production which will be grown up in new and projected greenhouses of Russia for the period from 2009 to 2015. There were calculated areas of new hothouses on regions Russian Federations. Report cosist of information on investors of greenhouse branch and volumes of the enclosed and planned investments into next 5 years. Prospects of development of grenhouse business in Russia are defined.
New projects 34 industrial greenhouses constructed or projected in territory of Russia, and also investors of these projects became objects of the research.
Given report is a component of global research of the market of industrial greenhouses and production made by them in the CIS countries.
During this work researchers of Growth Technologies Company solved the following tasks:
to calculate the areas of the closed ground in the Russian Federations using modern greenhouse constructions and technologies for manufacture of colors and vegetables;
to predict growth of the areas of the closed ground of the Russian Federation under new greenhouses with 2009 for 2015;
to estimate volumes of greenhouse production of new industrial grenehouses in a total volume of manufacture of all greenhouse economy of Russia;
to predict volumes of output of flower and vegetable production of new industrial greenhouses till 2015 and their share in greenhouse branch of Russia;
to describe applied technologies of cultivation of greenhouse cultures in new greenhouses;
to compare investment costs in new projects of greenhouses and terms of their recoupment;
to collect the information on investors of greenhouse branch of Russia;
to define the general tendencies of investments into greenhouse business over the lastest 5 years;
to make business profiles of new industrial greenthouses.
Following the results of 2010 Growth Technology Company has led initiative research of branch of the closed ground in southern areas of the Russian Federation, and have prepared the report "Greenhouse business in the south of Russia-2010".
